Going to the birthday party

 

On Saturday

On Saturday morning my family and I went to my aunty Rosie’s birthday party. 

First when we got to the birthday party I went to shake my uncle's hands and say happy birthday to my aunty Rosie. 

Next I said hi to my cousins and then my sister and brother inlaw Remus arrived at the birthday party. 

Then when my sister and brother inlaw arrived at the birthday party there was a bat on the ground so I said we should play Batdown. 

After that we began to play, Remus was the first one with the bat. When playing this game, one person has the bat and the rest of the players are fielding. If someone catches the ball it is his or her turn with the bat. When he or she hits the ball far, the fielders can teleport. Teleport is where one fielder passes it to another fielder and that fielder rolls the ball to try to hit the bat lying down. If they get the bat it is their turn to bat.

Finally we had the food and the cake. It was lovely and delicious. The most scrumptious stuff was the hangi. That was the loveliest hangi in the World. The Lamington and the cake was tasty. I had an amazing time at the birthday party.

                                                      I made some sweet delicious Chocolate and Coconut Balls for my Mum                                                          for Mother' Day.

                                                    I used chalk and paint to create my favourite cat.

                                                     Then I used coloured paper to weave a mat for my cat.        
 

At the Skatepark with my cousin

WALT use the correct structure for Recount Writing. At the SkatePark with my Cousin On Monday afternoon me and my cousin went to the Skatepark in Kaikohe. I took my scooter and my cousin rode my bike. First when we got there I was trying to do a three sixty on my scooter. I can do a one eighty but I was trying to do three sixty on my scooter. I was trying for hours before I got it. I was cheering when I got it. I felt amazing. Next my cousin was trying to drop the respect on my bike. That means going down a ramp. Then I gave a person a turn on my scooter. He was a pro on scooters. Then my cousin had a turn on my scooter. He was trying to do a tailwhip. A tailwhip is when you spin the bottom of a scooter around and then you land on it. On his hundredth time, he got the tailwhip. I had the greatest time with my cousin.

The water cycle 

The water cycle is something that never ends because it is a cycle that stores the water that we drink over and over.

The water that we drink, the dinosaurs used to drink years ago because the water that the dinosaurs used to drink years ago goes around in a circle, right up to today.

The water cycle moves water around our earth.

Why is the water cycle important to the earth?

The water cycle is important to the earth because it gives fresh water to humans, animals and plants. The water cycle keeps the water going around in a circle and it does not ends. Because the water cycle keeps going around and it keeps humans alive. Another job that the water cycle does is to keep water clean and fresh. 

So that is why the water cycle is important to our earth.

I think my writing has improved because I can use more interesting words to add detail to my writing. 

 At the Rugby club.

On Monday afternoon me and my family went to the rugby clubs in Kaikohe and we were selling cupcakes at the Rugby club. When we were selling the cupcakes for a while I saw Arkillies he was with has papa. First there were people selling some sasuges on the side of us. Next I got some money from my mum and

brought four sasuges for my family and we ate them. My family said that was delicious and they said that was the bomb. Then we stopped and watched the rest of the game. Later on me and my family got some       Joeche

At my farm.

I am learning to use fullstops and capital letters correctly.

On Monday morning I went to my farm with my dad. When we got there me and my uncle moved the cows. We were riding on our quads. We chased the cows into a different paddock.Then we had a race up the driveway and my uncle won. When we got up the driveway, the dogs were barking. My uncle gave them a hiding and the dogs screamed. I laughed and then I went into the paddock and I raced myself. Next we practiced racing my uncle. After that I felt tired so I  had a little sleep at my farm. When I woke up we had dinner. Then it was time to go home. I had a great time at my farm.

at the zoo

 On Monday morning I travelled to the zoo

with my family. When we walked for a while

I saw an elephant show. The zoo keeper was training the elephants. The zoo keeper was making the elephant lift its leg. The zoo keeper was showing us how it was sleeping. When it sleeps, it leans on a rock. The zoo keeper took the elephant to the water and the elephant drank the water.

Then the elephant splashed at the zoo keeper and she got mad and then the show finished.

I feel good that I got to go to the zoo.
