Going hunting

On Monday afternoon me and my uncle and cousin drove for a hunt down Ngapipito Road on the truck.

We drove for a few minutes. The dogs jumped off the truck. We stopped. We heard the dogs bark. We drove to the bicycle track where they were and we ran all the way down the track. When we got closer, my uncle said. “Watch out!” I got scared. Then we saw the pig. I was  scared. It was a 100 pound pig. It was pretty big. My uncle grabbed the pigs tail while the 2 dogs were biting. I felt excellent. Next my cousin Lani stuck the pig with a knife. The pig died. There was heaps of blood everywhere. 

After that Uncle Matt gutted the pig and we carried it to the truck. It was gigantic. I was happy. I had a good hunt.

Recount Writing-The flood.

The flood

On Friday morning I woke up with a fright. I got up and 

ran to the window. I saw the  heavy rain pouring down

from the sky. There was water everywhere. The road 

was flooded, the paddocks were flooded everywhere. 

The paddock looked like a creek.  The water was very dirty and it looked yuck. My dad woke up. I told him to look out the window. He was mad. Our table was floating away in the dirty flood water. I went outside and hopped on the table. The table stopped floating and I hopped off it.

Then I told my Dad how the flood happened. I know why the flood happened, the ground was too filled up with water because the rain kept going hard out. It didn´t stop.  

We stayed inside. My dad kept checking outside. 

At the end of the day the rain slowed down. 

I felt happy because I knew the flood would be going away.

On Monday my mum and dad went to    

Auckland for my papa's wedding but I wanted to
stay home with my brothers and sisters. 

First we went to McDonalds for breakfast.
Itś my favourite place to eat. My sisters took me in the car.

We waited a long time. I felt bored.
Finally our food was ready and we went up to pay. 

Then we went home. Our kai looked yummy. It tasted yummy.

After that I was watching the try not to laugh challenge
on youtube. I waited until it was lunchtime. I walked to the dairy.
I brought a pie and a drink. I ate my pie on the way back home.
It was yummy. I made my bed and went to sleep.
I had a amazing day.  

Recount Writing-On Monday

 On Monday
On Monday afternoon my mum and dad went to get me a gaming chair. I was amazed with my chair. It was cool. 
Me and my dad put all of the parts together. First we got all of the parts. Next we put the screws in. 
After that we set the chair up. Finally I spun around. I was dizzy. I felt cool. My chair is awesome because it can spin fast. It is black and blue.
We were learning about Recount Writing.
I found it easy to tell my readers who was with me for my story.
I found it hard to find exciting words.
I really enjoyed telling about my new chair.
Next time I need to work faster.

Me and Rawiri were riding on the quad on
Sunday afternoon in the paddock on the farm.  I
t was exciting. We went over the gigantic bumps.

Rawiri said, “Go fast.”  Then we did drifts.
Rawiri was cracking up hard out. 
When we went back up, we watched Login.
It was amazing.
